I am a retired teacher from the Long Beach Unified School District. I began working for the district as a substitute teacher during March of 1986. I am a single parent of four children. My two youngest children are still students in the school district (LBUSD). I have a B.A. in History with a Minor in Religious Studies (CSULB). In 1990, I completed a M.A. in Education, Instructional Media (CSULB). Before transferring to Cal State Long Beach, I attended 5 semesters at Bethany Bible College in Scott's Valley, California.
